Journalist and producer born in Colombia, he arrived in Japan in 1981 and has been a correspondent for numerous media of the Spanish speaking countries and France. In 1991 he set up a video production company in Tokyo and has made a number of documentaries and reports about contemporary and historical aspects of Japanese society. His work in Japan includes public relations and press consultant for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain. Besides Spanish he is fluent in Italian, English and Japanese, and has a working knowledge of Catalan and French.
