Article 1.(Application of the Terms of Use and Approval)
These Terms of Use apply to all articles related to the use of Japan Mentor Service (hereafter referred to as ”The Services”) run by GOOD HOUSE Inc. (hereafter referred to as “The Company”). Please take note that the use of The Services by The Clients (hereafter referred to as “The Client(s)”) shall be deemed as agreeing to these Terms of Use.

Article 2(Changing the Terms of Use)
The contents of the Terms of Use may change, if and when necessary, without prior notice to The Clients. The revised Terms of Use is deemed to have gained The Clients’ approval upon uploading the revision to our website.

Article 3(The Use of The Services)
1. At our website, we will provide a consulting service for overseas companies and entrepreneurs who would like to make successful entry into the Japanese market. Our consulting service consists of “Research and Assessment regarding the marketability of goods in the Japanese market, among others.
2. If the client is a minor, use of the Services would require parental or guardian's consent.
3. We do not guarantee that all contents of our website would be compatible with all PC environment or can be shown without problems on all PCs.

Article 4(How to Order)
The Client shall use the Services in accordance with the “How to Order” Instructions stipulated by The Company.
How to place orders:
1)To place an ”Initial Assessment” order , click “Initial Assessment Order” at our website and follow the guide. You can order by paying 500 EURO using the PayPal form.
2)For other consultations and enquiries, click the “General enquiries” button. Follow the guide and contact us using the e-mail form. We will reply to your e-mail and send you an estimate if the service is available.

Article 5 (No Prohibited Use)
In using the Services, the actions by Clients that correspond to the following are prohibited. If we notice that any of the following actions apply to the Client, we may terminate the client’s use of the Services, or immediately cancel the transaction without prior notice. The Company may file a claim against such Client for indemnification.
(1) To use the services, information and product information for profit (including non-profit activity that involves disclosure to a third party) without prior consent of The Company.
(2) Any actions that hinder or obstruct the operation of The Services.
(3) To access the Services through an unauthorized use of the PayPal account.
(4) Any actions that infringes on trademark rights, copyrights, privacy and any other right of other clients, third parties or The Company. Also, any actions that potentially could result in harassment, losses, or damages of the aforementioned parties.
(5) Any attempt to enter information contrary to facts, such as personal data of others, etc.
(6) Actions that are unlawful or offensive to public order, or could be potentially unlawful or offensive to public order.
(7) Alteration of information related to The Company, The Service(s), or information provided through The Service(s).
(8) Sending or writing of harmful computer programs.
(9) Other actions that The Company deems inappropriate in providing the Services.

Article 6(Copyright)
1. All copyrights, trademark rights and other intellectual property related to images and design posted on our Website belong to the Company or to each right holder. The Client(s) are prohibited, without prior authorization, from reproduction, transmission to the public, distribution, sale, alteration of the above, or any other actions that may infringe the copyright law and other laws and regulations.
2. The Client shall be held liable for all damages incurred by the infringement of the aforementioned items.

Article 7(Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall handle all personal information of the client in an appropriate manner based on the “Privacy Policy” stipulated by the Company.

Article 8(Website management and operation)
1.SSL
SSL(Security Socket Layer) is a security function that encodes information to prevent the tapping and alteration of the data transmitted. At our Website, we use SSL-encrypted communication for the purchase and other pages.
2. E-mail
The Company, based on the personal information registered by the Client, shall be able to send e-mails and other correspondences, periodically or otherwise, to the Client in order to advertise new products services and other notices related to our Company or our affiliates.
The Company shall stop sending these e-mails if the client notifies us that s/he does not wish to receive them any longer.

Article 9(Linked Sites)
The Company is not responsible for the contents of, or damages incurred by the use of, any third-party website linked to or from our Website (Linked Sites).

Article 10(Suspension and interruption of the Service)
1. In order to maintain the Services in optimal conditions, the Company may cancel or temporarily suspend the Service, by parts or in whole, without prior notice to our Client(s) under the following conditions:
(1) If necessary for routine maintenance and emergency maintenance of the system
(2) If the system is overwhelmed or difficult to operate due to fire, power outage, and other accidents
(3) If the system is difficult to operate due to earthquakes, eruption, tsunami, thunderbolt, heavy snowfall, and other unavoidable natural disasters.
(4) If the system is difficult to operate due to war, insurrection, riot, turmoil, labor disputes, etc.
(5) If the system is difficult to operate due to system malfunction, unauthorized access by a third party, computer viruses, etc.
(6) If the Company is requested to do so by a government agency or a judicial body based on a legal order of due relevance.
(7) Other cases, in which the Company deems it necessary to interrupt or halt the service, or deems it impossible to continue to provide the Service.
2. The Company shall not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred by the Client or by a third party in relation to the interruption or suspension of the Service.

Article 11(Disclaimer)
1. The Company assumes no responsibility for any damage incurred by our clients arising from the registry and processing of the application sent by the client.
2. In cases where the Company deems itself to be responsible for notification to the Client, such notification shall be considered to have been fulfilled when such notification has been sent to the address or e-mail address registered by the client. In cases of delivery of a product, such delivery shall be considered to have been fulfilled once the product has been sent to the address instructed by the client.
3. The Company may suspend or interrupt the operation of the Website, or amend the contents provided in the Website in whole or in part without any prior notice The Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, loss, or disadvantage caused or alleged to be caused by the such.
4. In cases where another Client or a third party suffers damage due to a Client’s use of the Service, the issue shall be resolved by the sole responsibility and at the sole expense of the Client involved, to the extent that the Company shall not incur any loss, damage or disadvantage whatsoever.

Article 12(Court of Jurisdiction)
Any dispute between the Company and a Client arising from, relating to, or in connection with the Service shall be discussed in good faith between both parties, and if such dispute cannot be settled through such discussion, the Tokyo District Court shall have the exclusive jurisdiction as the first instance court for the purpose of the adjudication of any such dispute.

Article 13(Governing Law)
The Japanese Law governs all interpretation and application of the “Terms of Use”.

■Time and Method of Delivery
With the “Initial Assessment Order,” we will deliver the services, in principle, via e-mail within 21 days after the confirmation of order and payment.
For other orders, we will set an individual delivery date at the time of sending you the estimate.
This, though, is not applicable in cases of flood of orders and other unavoidable circumstances.
Should a delay in delivery occur, we will inform you as soon as practically possible.
